Devkinandan Patel is a guitarist and composer based in Ahmedabad, India. He's regarded as one of India's finest exponents of fingerstyle guitar. Equally adept on both electric and acoustic, he is a sought-after session musician with a penchant for organic tones and jazz-inflected blues. He has toured extensively in India, and has performed in the UK and the US as well.
As an educator, he has taught hundreds of aspiring musicians across the country in addition to holding workshops and teaching music at IB schools.
He studied at The Academy of Contemporary Music (ACM) in 2004 and Los Angeles College of Music (LACM) in 2009 where he also held the position of a student tutor. Devkinandan Patel has contributed widely to music education in Gujarat and continues to teach today.
